Chief Fire Announces Dragon XL nozzle
The Chief Fire Dragon XL nozzle is designed to last; it's rated for 10,000 GPM (37,854 LPM) for big flow operations.
West Chester, PA. April 6, 2018/News and Updates/ -- Chief Fire, an American manufacturer and fire apparatus expert located in the Greater Philadelphia area is excited to announce the Dragon XL nozzle; a custom big flow nozzle with a range from 4000 – 10000 GPM (2000 increments) and a foam eduction rate of 3%.
The Dragon XL nozzle has a selectable flow range from 4000 – 10000 GPM (2000 increments) and a foam eduction rate of 3%. 12V electric actuators move the stream slide to provide an infinitely variable stream of fog shooting pattern which can be controlled either on the local control panel or wireless remote.
The nozzle consists of hard anodized aluminum and stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance.
Foam is introduced via the two 2.5” NPT foam inlets. A pressure gauge is located on the nozzle to ensure the water supplied is at the required 100psi.
"We are proud to design and manufacture this high performance nozzle" said CEO Kyle Chandler. "Not all situations need solutions this big, but if you can dream it, think it, or need it, we have the engineering expertise and practical knowledge to build it. We will always stay true to our mission: To develop and deliver the most innovative and performance driven hazard control solutions in the world."
